This is the fifth year of the event, which promotes local Kaldir fruit and the Kaldir region, widely known for agriculture, especially fruit growing, and increasingly for top winemakers.
Kaldir near Motovun represents a true fruit-growing paradise, because extremely favorable microclimatic conditions favor the cultivation of various types of fruit, and the fact that almost 70 percent of fresh fruit produced and distributed in Istria comes from Kaldir is impressive.
Kaldir's Fruit Market is designed as a market where you can buy local fresh fruit and fruit products made from fruit harvested on the slopes of Kaldir region directly from Kaldir family farms during the entire fruit growing season until mid-September in one place, in the heart of the Kaldir region. Kaldir has been protecting and promoting the very name "Kaldir fruit" for years, because it shows the originality of local production, the quality of fruit and fruit products, and the effort put in by the local population.
